PDO Thread Lift is a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure that uses absorbable surgical sutures that are placed into the subdermal layer of the skin to initiate collagen production. The procedure can result in increased firmness and elasticity of the skin in the treated area. 

Polydioxanone or poly-p-Diaxanone (PDO) is a colorless, crystalline, biodegradable synthetic polymer that has good biological tolerability and is totally safe. It is totally absorbable by hydrolysis within about 180 days. Scientific evidence has showed the increase in the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid and improves local microcircullation. Therefore, it stimulates production of new collagen protein which results in increased elasticity and firmness of the skin. The effects of using PDO suture as treatment are rejuvenation , lifting effect, toning of the tissue, wrinkle improvement and hydrated skin. Due to the endogenous stimulation generated by the PDO thread, the aesthetic effect can last up to 18 months.
